Bio: Luz Carabaño (b.1995, Maracay, Venezuela) is an artist currently based in Los Angeles. Her small scale paintings explore perceptual and sensorial shifts. Carabaño is interested in ideas of retracing, fragmentation, and displacement. She holds a BFA in Studio Art from New York University and is a second year graduate painting candidate at UCLA.
